I don't mean to always talk about the weather, but isn't it a bit crazy right now? 98 degrees in normally moderate LA, snow flurries in the midwest, and a sunny 75 degrees this week at the farmhouse - in mid-March! I guess spring is known for wild fluctuations, but I thoroughly enjoyed the three days (3 days!) of 70+ degrees we had with windows open and our lunch walks without a coat.💜 We're back to cloudy with a chance of rain this weekend, but it was a fine start to official spring! In other spring news, after a disastrous start to seed-starting season (NONE of my tomatoes or peppers sprouted in a new seedling mix I was trying out 😢) I finally have seedlings of tomatoes, a few peppers, and some flowers. Not the zinnias I bought special this year, though - only 1 out of 12 sprouted. I've been doing this so many years, it's always amazing to me how it can just not work so well one year! I hope your gardening year is starting off better than mine. 😀 Most Popular RecipesWhat are most people making from the website right now? Three of these are often in my top 10, but 2 are new to the list this year, which is fun to see!

I've been dipping my feet into using my new greenhouse to start seeds and pot them up. I'm going to move to hardening off plants I started indoors this week,...

Winter turning to spring...

Of course if you've broken a bone you know that the restrictions come from the new range of motion you have (or lack thereof...).😂 So I'm slowly getting my wrist used to moving again...
