🥘 What I made this week.

Hi Reader,

Brian and I have been eating lunches and dinners outside this week whenever it was sunny to take advantage of the last of the nice weather as we brace for a major rain and wind storm over the next week.

In the evenings the meal was around the fire pit - we just realized we could have a fire ourselves and not wait for company or an event. What a thought.😂

So here's my encouragement to you - do the fun thing anyway and make a memory.💜 (Those are Black Bean Quesadillas, by the way with a bit of chicken added and served with cumin lime slaw and chips - it doesn't have to be any special 'fire pit' food!)

Not only was it personally fulfilling to see these two books I've labored over received well, but Brian and I had fun watching the sales come in and then packaging up each order.💜 Of course even though the sale is over, I still think the canning...

But that didn't stop us from having our scheduled date night where we had some great BBQ at a local restaurant and then saw the movie, Good Fortune, which I wasn't sure about from the trailer but turned out to be pretty good. The rest of our week was pretty normal, which got me to...
